Celebrating its 9th Anniversary, Semen Gresik Reinforces Synergy and Performance in Facing 2023
Rembang, January 11, 2023 - PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) celebrated its 9th anniversary (January 10, 2014 – January 10, 2023) under the theme "Stronger & Better", which convened at the front area of the Al Hikam Mosque of PTSG, Rembang Factory (11/1).
This big event was performed in a hybrid scheme and attended by the President Commissioner and the Commissioner of PTSG, Donny Arsal and Otok Kuswandaru, who were present online. Apart from that, the President Director of PTSG, Subhan; the Director of Finance and HR of PTSG, Muchamad Supriyadi; the Director of Production of PTSG, Reni Wulandari; and all employees witnessed the event live.
The President Director of PTSG, Subhan, emphasized that nine years is hardly a brief period for the company. In its journey, a wide range of dynamics and challenges have been passed, both in business processes and internal consolidation.
"The increasingly competitive economic competition in 2022 will not dampen the company's steps to continue to provide the best service for the community and support the nation's development agenda," said Subhan.
"At the peak of this 9th anniversary celebration, we, the whole board of directors, are highly grateful for and appreciate all the hard work from various lines for the 2022 remarkable achievements," he concluded.
According to him, great synergy and collaboration between company lines have proven to be able to record positive performance and brilliant achievements at the national and international levels amidst the various challenges throughout 2022.
Subhan continued, through a culture of hard work and the spirit of innovation from all elements within the company, PTSG has become a major player in the cement industry throughout the country.
"In line with our big theme of the 9th Anniversary of PTSG, "Stronger & Better", hopefully, we can be stronger and better at providing initiatives and expanding innovation for the advancement of the company in 2023," he inferred.
Meanwhile, the President Commissioner of PTSG, Donny Arsal, congratulated and appreciated the positive performance and achievements accomplished by PTSG in 2022.
"Thanks to all elements at PTSG, from the Board of Directors to all employees, for your efforts and hard work to keep the company sustainable and get more solid in coping with challenges in 2023," he stated.
The 9th Anniversary celebration was enlivened with various activities, including thanksgiving, donating to 99 orphans, and awarding for the best innovators in the company. In this event, the President Director of PTSG symbolically handed over the 2022 Green Proper Award Trophy from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry to the President Director of PTSG.
